We have 4 enclosures type C7000. Two weeks ago
we updated the firmware from al iLO boards to firmware 1.78
and the onboad admin to 2.51.

For the last day's we are seeing the following
error: Error- lost commucnication with iLO

The only way to resolve this issue is to pull
the blade from the enclosure and push it back in.

Anybody a idea what this could be?

Try clearing the cache in your browser. I recently upgraded all my blades to 1.78 and 2.51 and it all went fine, except sometimes i couldn't get back to the iLO and clearing the browser cache fixed it.

Problem is that it seems something to do with the iLO2 1.78 firmware. When the connection is lost with the onboad admin there is no way to connect to the ip adres.

Did you upgrade the OA firmware first or the iLO firmware first? It's recommended to upgrade the iLO's to 1.78 before going to 2.51. How many servers is this happening to?
