IMC 7.1 - Unable to add my own space (dashboard) or add alert widget

Hi,

I used to be able to add my own spaces, and also used to have the alert widget on the welcome screen, but thats no longer working.

I dont have the tabs available inder the home, resource, user etc bar, or the little icon of a house.

Is it possible to reset the home page back to factory settings?

I have tried in IE, FF and Chrome.

EDIT : meant to add, I can see the + appear where I would expect to see it when the page is loading, but it soon disappears/ gets covered.

I have found the answer.....

I had never noticed since the upgrade to 7.1 from 7, that there is a very translucent cog on an orange/yellow background on the right hand side of the screen near the scroll bars. Click on that, and alls well, I can do what I need to.
