topic Installing iMC on Debian or as VM in IMC

Hi,

I would like to install iMC to manage HP5412Rzl2 switches. Unfortunatelly it seems that installer was designed only for Red Hat/CentOS. Is it possible to install it on Debian (Wheezy) or download IMC as a VM template?

There is a 'SmartConnect' VM - http://www8.hp.com/us/en/products/network-management/product-detail.html?oid=5443905 - it is designed for specific environments though, and might not apply to you.

I suspect that IMC would run on Debian, but of course they'll claim they don't support it.

Easier to just run it on CentOS or Windows.
