    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi LindsayHill,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For things to check :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* yes, i have checked "Requires Security Connection" on mail server settings.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* Yes i do, i checked "Requires Authentication" too.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* There's a telnet feature on HP IMC ? How to Telnet by using HP IMC ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Novian&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i'm using IMC 7,2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i want to setup mail server IMC for send alarm notification to my mail account , if i try to use "test Mailbox" &amp;nbsp;and always failed. &amp;nbsp;"failed to connect mail server. please check your network connection and mail server configuration and try again". the network connection there's not a problem. ex :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;server address : mail.mycompany.com&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;server port : 465 (for smtp port)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;username : mycompany&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;pass : mycomp&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;sender's mail address : mail@mycompany.co.id&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is there an mail server&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="lia-search-match-lithium"&gt;setting&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; that needs to be &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="lia-search-match-lithium"&gt;set&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Things to check:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* Are you using SSL? Probably yes, since you're using port 465? Do you have "Requires Security Connection" checked?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* Do you have "Requires Authentication" checked?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* From the IMC server, can you telnet to mail.mycompany.com on port 465?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* What do your email server logs say? (They will log things like failed authentication, etc)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Okey, thank you for your advice...it's useful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i was to check port server on IMC, evidently it's wrong port server destination.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Novian&lt;/P&gt;</description>
