Java error when upgrading from iMC 7.2-->7.3

This is my first post on this forum.

I have tried to do a upgrade of our iMC version 7.2 E0403P10. I have downloaded the latest package iMC_7.3_E0506_Win and unzipped it. I rebooted the server prior to upgrade and chose not to start services automatically as OS starts in Intelligent Deployment Monitoring Agent. The upgrade always crashes at the same spot trying to copy JavaService. Am I missing something? There is about 30Gb of free space o the drive so it should not be an issue. Below is part of the update log created (I highlighted the error):

Please make some changes in Java files.

1.Navigate to the ...\Program Files\IMC\deploy folder. Locate the JavaService application

2. Right-click and rename as JavaService_32

3. Navigate to the imc V7.2 download folder. Navigate to windows\install\components\common\deploy folder and copy the JavaService64 application file.

4. Copy the JavaService64 application file into the ...\Program Files\IMC\deploy folder and rename it to JaveService.

5. Navigate to administrative tools > Services, right-click HP imc Server and select Start. The status of the HP imc Server should change to Running.

6.Start the imc Deployment ASgent and select the install button. Specify the path for imc V7.3 upgarde and select ok.

Now the JavaService file is correct, the upgrade to imc V7.3 should complete successfully.

Hi ibias and thank you for your reply!

In your third point, do you mean the V7.2 folder from where the current one was installed or the new v7.3 folder where the upgrade will be performed from? I did not find the JavaService64 application file in the v7.2 folder and when testing the JavaService64 application file from the v7.3 folder and renaming it to JavaSerice the HP iMC Service stops right away when you try to start it.
