Hi,

Yes, the certificate on the MyNetworking Portal has been updated. This is where IMC verifies the software for LiveUpdate function. When this is updated, a new certificate is required for IMC server. The file is\iMC\common\jre\lib\security\cacert. We are working to release the new cacert file. Please open a support case and it will be provided.

As a workaround, the software can be manually downloaded then uploaded to the IMC software library.

thanks!

Aruba IMC ERT

Looks like IMC LiveUpdate has stopped working over HTTPS......again. I get the message "No update items found"

Changing to HTTP in liveupdate.properties works.

An IMC hot patch has been published to fix the problems with LiveUpdate, and the schedule for updating security certificates has been communicated so we can prevent this from happening again! Please note that the http option will no longer work as a workaround now that the patch is available.

The hot patch version is iMC PLAT v7.3 (E0605H05) , and it can only be applied to iMC PLAT v7.3 (E0605P04). Download at one the URLs below.
IMC Enterprise: https://h10145.www1.hpe.com/downloads/SoftwareReleases.aspx?ProductNumber=JG748AAE
IMC Standard: https://h10145.www1.hpe.com/downloads/SoftwareReleases.aspx?ProductNumber=JG747AAE

I will get the advisory referred to by Parnassus updated in the next few days.

Happy updating,Lynn-Marie

Hi,

Is anyone experiencing this issue again? The hot patch worked for a while, but recently stopped working for me. I updated to E0703 and am still having issues.

Thanks!

Well, really, I noticed that neither latest IMC update (to E0703) nor latest ArubaOS-Switch software release (for branch 16.09) are discovered...no errors..simply no updates are reported as available.

It looks like it is the same certificate issue happening again. I switched to config liveupdate.properties config file to use http instead of https and live update began working properly again.
