Receive the results of check task by mail

We use IMC 7.3

We periodically check the configurations of network equipment using the check tasks. For example to check if the local user accounts are activated wrongly (use for this of a compliance policy with pattern search ...) The results indicate which devices are correct and which are not (With a severity level)

Is there a way to get the result by email?

Or an email notification if the level of severity (critical for example) is associated with the result?

Hello,

You can get the results via e-mail by configuring this in the respective Check Task, with the option to either send an e-mail when the task result contains a failure, or to send an e-mail regardless. You just enter the destination e-mail address, and need to make sure you have configured the mail server in advance (System Configuration > Mail Server Settings).

Hello,

It sounds like your iMC version is outdated - 7.3 is just the overall version.

This feature specifically was added in iMC 7.3 E0703:

The compliance check reports can be exported, and mail notifications can be configured based on the compliance check results on the Service > Compliance Center > Check Task page

Please upgrade to the latest version so you can make use of this feature (and many more).

Please a last question

While waiting for the implementation of the IMC update, can we get the check results directly from the directories of the Windows 2008 server in our case? I searched but found nothing.

Hello,

Do you mean retrieve the results as a file on the IMC filesystem? I doubt it, as I believe it just writes the results to the database, and finding and interpreting the results directly from the DB would involve at least as much effort as using the GUI.
