Error Upgrading to E703

I am trying to upgrade IMC from E605 to E703. I receved an upgrade has failed please review dmslog. DMSlog has shows this error

In looking at the C:\Windows\iMC-Reserved\log\dbresult_202110261226332.log I see this. Any thoughts?

Hello,

First of all, I'd suggest upgrading to E0705 directly - there should be no need to upgrade to E0703, it can be skipped.

The error you see related to "osql" means there is an issue with the DB client or PATH to it on your IMC system. OSQL is the command line for MSSQL and IMC relies on it to access the database. Make sure the DB client is installed correctly (see the corresponding MSSQL Installation guide for IMC) and that the MSSQL Binn directory is in the system PATH. It should be added automatically if you've installed all the required client components and SQL Server Management Studio.

Thanks for pointing out 705, I missied that in the release notes.

I am new to iMC and am having trouble finding the SQL installation guide but I will keep looking. Thanks.

Hello,

You can find documents for IMC at this link. Search there for SQL to find the MSSQL installation guides, there's one for each IMC-supported major version of MSSQL.
