The client installed fine but can not fine the server. If i diable the fire wall on the windows server the client find the server an i am able to log on. If i actuvate the firewall the client can not find the server. Looks like i need to open ectra ports on the windows 2008 firewall.

Hi,

It sounds likeyou need to configure inbound rules for the PCM server in your Windows firewall. Try adding a program rule that allows connections for the hp_pcm_jre\bin\javaw.exe file located under the PCM installation directory, and make sure the rule applies to all profiles.

Regards,

SVB
