dHCI Host Removal

I added a DL360 Gen11 server to a new dHCI cluster, had to enable Secure Boot afterwards due to HOST TPM Attestation error. The error was still there after a reboot so I ended up removing the host using the dHCI Vcenter plugin. I tried re-adding the host but it failed saying the host already exists. Upon further review, the host is still in the vcenter's host inventory list. My question is shouldn't the HPE dHCI plugin have removed it entirely from vcenter and not just the cluster? Is it safe to remove it from vcenter interface or is it somehow still tied to dHCI since I can also see it listed in HPE Greenlake (Private Cloud Business Edition) server listing?

you need to delete the host from Vcenter or DHCI will not agree to add it

as a new server..

another problem could be that the host was not deleted from the DHCI database it that

is the case you need the help of support.

don't hesitate to call support they are very helpful.

Thanks! Removed the host from vcenter inventory. but the host remained in the cloud. Support cleared up the host in the array database and I was able to re-add the host.
