HPE Nimble ownership and support transfer?

Hello,

My company has purchased a Nimble HF20 from a company that removed it from service prior to support expiring. Warranty and support on this unit are valid through Sept 2024. Is it possible to transfer the warranty and support contract from the previous owner? They are willing to provide any assistance required for this process.

I've done some googling but can't find any record of a process for HPE to enable ownership transfer.

Hi kuvaa,

It is possible to transfer HPE Nimble HF20 warranty and support contracts from the previous owner to your company, but it usually requires coordination with HPE support.
Ensure you have the serial number of the HPE Nimble HF20, proof of purchase, and any other documentation the previous owner might be able to provide.
Reach out to HPE Tech support and provide the required information, so that they will help you to transfer the ownership of your array.

It can be transfer to be under your name, just call your HPE partner and he can sort it for you

The array needs to be re-certified for changing ownership. Please do create a support ticket to initiate the process.
