topic keep Nimble with a different OS version on each controller in HPE Nimble Storage Solution Specialists

Hello,

we have to update the Nimble's OS to a different version but we have a really tight time to do it, so we were wondering if we can update a controller at a time, so basically updating only one controller on day 1, waiting the next day and proceed to update the second controller to the same OS version as the first. Is it possible to do so? It can lead to problems? There are some pre-requisites to respect? The version in use now is 5.0.8.0
Also there is an official document that states how we have to proceed with the update of Nimble?

Thank You and kind regards

It cannot be done, once the update is initiated, it will be applied on both the controllers(one at a time).

It applies on the standby controller first (which does not serve data anyways), followed by a controller failover and the next one will get updated.
