Hey Nimble team,

I am worndering if anyone has tried and seen the same issue , we have iscsi setup for the hyper-V and and when we went on reclaiming the blot spac e it is rebooted the hypver-V host. This is the KB (KB-000065 Block Reclamation) on page 5 . does anyone succesfully reclaimed the blocks using the defrag as nimble has outline the procedure to reclaim the space. I have TBs to be reclaimed ? it's on 2019

Hello,

The document says, "Note This section applies to Windows 2012 R2 and Windows 2016 only"

And it does not reboot the host and it is possible that it would have happened due to some other reason. Have you checked the event logs to see if there were any warnings/errors ?

Host was fine before starting the defrag and nimble support confirm it is Same for 2019 as well . It is never happen for reclaiming the space on VMware or even in Linux or hyper-v also it is kind of issue that does not seems to be happen. I have checked the host and does not indicate anything for cause which relate to this issue
Working with nimble support to find out what is happened .
