Hello @PhS-

If some servers in HPE OneView show "State Unmanaged" and "Communication Error", it usually means OneView cannot communicate with the server's iLO management interface. A network, connectivity, or configuration issue often causes this.

Here are a few things you can check:

Verify that the network connection between OneView and the iLO is working properly and that no firewall is blocking the communication.
Make sure the iLO firmware is up to date and supported by your OneView version.
Confirm that the iLO credentials configured in OneView are correct and have not changed.
Check that the iLO management ports are enabled and reachable.
Ensure the iLO IP addresses are correct and can be resolved if hostnames are being used.
Restart the OneView service if possible.
Review the OneView and iLO logs for any specific error messages.

You can also try removing the affected servers from OneView and adding them back. If needed, reboot the iLO to restore communication.

If the issue continues, collect logs from OneView, iLO, and the network environment, and contact HPE Support for further investigation.

Hi,

do you see iLO IP on HW ? If yes or you know this IP go to settings, security section and click on Manage certificates.

Then try add cert by Add certificate from an IP address or hostname, port 443 and force trust...

BR, Petr
