Hello, and welcome to the HP OneView Community Forums.

Field 1 is supposed to either be CN or UID. This tells the OneView appliance the User Object type to look for based on the Directory type you specified (which would either be LDAP or Active Directory.). So, take what you have in Field 1 and put it into Field 2. Also, you only specify the full Connonical Name OU path, and do not include the DC values. The DC values are for Field 3.

So you should have the following:

Field 1: CN

Field 2: OU=Security Groups,OU=Groups,OU=Management

Field 3: DC=XXX,DC=XXX,DC=XXX,DC=XX

This simply defines how the appliance will attach to a security directory. You then need to go to the Users and Directory Groups section of the Top Level Menu to add your Directory Group(s). For more information, please refer to the following:

HP OneView 1.10 Online Help :http://h17007.www1.hp.com/docs/enterprise/servers/oneviewhelp/cic/en/content/c_settings-security.html

Page 177 to understand managing users and authentication: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c04327031
