Hello,

could you please clarify the actual situation regarding BNA and OneView?

Is there a free version which supports mutliple synergy frames and server (mostly ESX) using two fabrics?

Is yes, where to get it and how to install it? If a license is required where to get it?

Answer: I would suggest to go through the BNA guide.

Answer: Yes.

Answer:

During the installation of BNA, You must select ‘Agent only’.

This will not require any license.

Also, do not use the HP B-series SAN Network Advisor icon to start. Instead, try Server Management Console from the Windows Start button.

hello,

as per: https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c05193934 there is the following on page 18:

Network Advisor - Professional
SMI Agent is not available with Professional.

so as far as i know OneView uses SMI-S for communication with BNA SAN Managers....

could you please qualify this further?

Hello,

Yes.

You need to Enter the FQDN/IP Address, TCP Port (if different from the default SMI-S/WEBM over SSL 5989/TCP), and BNA login credentials for OneView to use when communicating with BNA.

It is suggested to use SMI agent Only option..

Refer from Page 86 to add BNA to Oneview.
