    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I&amp;nbsp; have OneView 8.90 and while adding servers to a rack in the facilites section I am getting a warning that the rack is overloaded from a power standpoint. Looking into this, the server shows a total power capacity of 2kW. The server has dual redundant 1kW power supplies. The capacity of the server power should only show 1kW to account for a power supply failure. The issue is; the rack utilization adds up the 2kW as potential power usage, so you would only be able to get a few servers into a rack without the rack reporting potential over power condition.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The request would be to have a future version calculate power based on power supply settings; redundant or stand-alone, to represent potential power capacity/allocation more accurately. Or use actual readings from iLO. Allocated power accounts for the actual hardware configuration and allows for changes without requiring reallocation. This power level is typically higher than Power Advisor's estimate.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Thanks for replying. Unfortunately this is not related to Synergy. This is a stand alone OneView instance managing/monitoring rack mount servers - DL360, DL380 and Apollo servers. This reference is to DL servers with two 1600w power supplies and the power section for the rack takes this into account as showing potential 3.2kw, which is not accurate, as they are redundant and not accumulative. The request is to make this reflect actual or peak usage for calculating the rack power utilization.&amp;nbsp; Let me know if you need more info.&lt;/P&gt;
