Hello,

We have noticed that from time to time some server hardware problems are not visible in OneView.
In OneView, the server status is green but if you look in the iLO you see that there is a hardware problem (hard disk or memory problem, we have had both on differrent machines).

For example, this machine status was green and after a refresh is still green :

But in the iLO :

And in fact, one of the disks is dead.

We have the latest version of OneView : 9.30.00-0502470
This problem was already present in v8.x and all versions of v9.x
Any idea what could cause this ? and how to avoid this ?

Thanks in advance for your help

Marc

The Controller shows as Warning in the Device Inventory table on the second image. However, there isn't much else to deduce why this is happening. I'd suggest you open a support case to help identify why this is happening in your environment.
