topic [HP 3500yl] Half duplex vs Full deplex in Software Defined Networking

Hi,

We found our HP 3500yl switches to be halp duplex, which means the flows sending in opposite directions with slow down each other. For example, a flow sending from port 1 to port 2 can get 8MB/s. But if we have one flow sendin from port 1 to port 2, another flow sending from port 2 to port 1, each will get around half of the full bandwidth. What do we need to do to configure the switch to be full duplex? Its ports are configured to be openflow ports if that matter. Thank you!
