Retrying connection due to PersistenceException

I am working on HP VAN controller 2.0.0.4253. I found the following messages have been added into my support logs for every 10 seconds when I started the controller (even without launching a data plane). Will it cause any impact to my controller applications (ping works fine at the moment in a Mininet topology)? How can I fix it? Thanks!

I also get that exact same message in the logs every 10 seconds. I've developed and ran a few SDN applications and they have not been impacted at all by that error.

Hi David,

Would it be possible to upgrade to the latest and greatest version of the VAN SDN controller and report back whether the PersistenceException that you are experiencing also occurs there? The version you are using over a year and a half old and many things have been improved in the meantime. Let me know what the results are. Thanks!
