hi.. everyone,

i got some questions about pox controller, is it possible to implement machine learning in pox controller with decision tree algorithm ?, my case is DDoS Attack and how to mitigate the attacker with machine learning on SDN using pox controller and mininet.

i hope some advice or references after this question :(,

Hi qaidin,

From a conceptual standpoint it is certainly possible. OpenFlow provides the capability to capture all data plane traffic, and you could analyze those packets on any server where you're running the POX controller. I don't have any references or specific guidance, because it's a fairly open-ended question. Did you have some specifics you wanted to share?
