Howdy,

Which switch model(s) do you have that you are seeing this issue on?

Can you give us a screengrab of the issue and maybe a fragment of the configuration on the switch.

You can configure inactivity timeouts as part of the port-security configuration that will drop the dynamically learned MAC after a certain time but we'd need to know what your setup looks like now to offer the best advice.

Hope that helps

Thanks

Ian

We are installing voip phones. The computers are then connected to the phones. The switch ports are configured with dot1x port-mode mac-based.

The mac-address status shows “NOAGED”. There was no problem before the phones when moving a computer from one switch port to another port.

Now the phone keeps the switch port always UP. So computer’s mac-address is not cleared from that port. When the computer is connected to

another switch port it does not authenticate since its mac-address is NOAGED in the port that it was previously. How to deal with it ?

Thanks to any help.
