Hello

Actually I found that vmotion is not enabled on the storage kernel port .

I will however add a kernel port on the for vmotion using the 10g nics .

thanks

Hello ,

I just like to have an idea about the VMotion network in Simplivity .

Normally the 10Gb NICs are "reserved" for SVT federation and storage networking and I wonder if it "must" be like that or if it's supported to add a VLAN for vmotion traffic on those NICS

thanks

By default Vmotion is tagged on the ESXi storage vmkernel during deployment, however it is perfectly fine to add an additional vmkernel to the ESXi as long as it is on a seperate subnet to the existing managment and storage.
