Well, at least (HP has to keep its repuation) they managed to mess their support portal up so I am not able to download any 4.1.1 software (even though I have active support subscription until 2023) and now have to explain myself to "support" staff in Bulgaria. Oh boy. It has come to a time where constant cost reduction led us to miserable hard- and software and even worse support of miserable hard- and software. Working in IT was way more fun once.

I always enjoy playing the game of how many different links can I click until the correct InterOp guide opens. 95% are either dead links or links to old guides.

That's true. Well, had to be expected.

Meanwhile several support teams in East Europe are working on fixing our support portal account so that we finally are able to download the new SimpliVity release. Must be rocket science.

So, I am taking all back... HPE support wrote me:

Following up on your request, please note that at the moment the version 4.1.1 is only available to customers with platform Simplivity 325 Gen10+ v2

Great, so now you have an interop guide telling you that ESXi 7.0U2d is supported on your DL380 G10 but you can't download it except when buying a new server. That totally makes sense.

Very good HPE, after it was not possible for me to download the software I created a case with support. After two days of no response, I thought I use the chatbot, 3 cases have now been created and in the end I get a vague message back with a url of a blog stating that the software is only suitable for the DL325. boy o boy!

Don't get me wrong i love Simplivity but how this is going is very disappointing

Looks like it has been pulled. Only reference I can find is a 4.1.1 administrative guide. Can someone from HPE please provide a status update for 4.1.1? I assume they pulled to hopefully include a Log4J fix (and hopefully quickly).

Sadly there are no download links for 4.1.1U1 yet. At least I was able to download the firmware.

Yeah, well: they would have scared me if they magically managed to publish software on the first try.

Guys, this is HPE. Give them some weeks, then some more, then some useless calls to the callcenter in Bulgaria and then some even more weeks. Then we can talk about download this update. And only then will we ask ourselves: When are they going to support 7.0U3c?

Its a miracle, all dowload links are available and can be downloaded!! Allthought after this long time i am a littlebit afraid to upgrade!
