Changing Storage Network on Simplivity Cluster

Hi Folks,

Because a Customer has changed its network configuration on Lan Switches I need to change Storage Vlan Segment of existing Simplivity Cluster.

So I need to change vlan Id, netmask, hosts and ovcs ips.

Do you know where to find a procedure or guideline?

Hope you are doing well.!!

I would suggest you to open a support ticket to get the network configuration changed. However, if you would like to get it done by yourself then you may try with the below steps:

1. Change VLAN id on vswitch
2. Use the dv-address-change command on each OVC one by one.

Yes I had to open a support ticket, It was not so easy like changing vmkernel ip, porgroups ids and ipaddress on ovc, there are another files where to update this information.
