Hello , I use a new SimpliVity-Cluster. It works fine in the last weeks. But now I think I have problems in the communication between the vCenter and the OVC . On the vSpere I use the client-version 7.0.3.00700 . And on the the OVC I can logon via ssh , but I can't run any svt-command :

Last login: Wed Dec 21 08:26:14 UTC 2022 from x.xx.xxx.x on pts/0

Welcome to HPE SimpliVity 4.1.2.185

svtcli@omnicube-ip241-233:~$ svt-software-status-show
ERROR [47]: Missing session credentials.

I 'm afraid this is a consequence of the following works. I install an external ssl-machine-certificat to the vcenter. It is possible?

I think the OVC has also a problem to speak with the vCenter-server.

root@omnicube-ip241-233:/home/svtcli# svt-session-start
vCenter server: x.x.x.x
Enter username: Administrator@vsphere.local
Enter password for Administrator@vsphere.local:
Error: Error connecting to server at 'x.x.x.x': The server may not be a hypervisor server or a virtualization management server

From vCenter I have also a Problem with the OVC . If I try to shutdown the OVC over vCenter , I get the messages " You must select HPE SimpliVity objects to access this action"

Hi,

After a vCenter change of any kind, even a simple re-install the OVC's need to be updated using the dsv-update-vcenter command.

It appears as though this may not have been done at this stage.

Executing this command on each OVC (requires a reboot) using the following syntax should resolve your issue:

sudo dsv-update-vcenter --server VC-IP --username "administrator@vsphere.local" --password "Admin-Password"

Note: OVC reboot will not affect the running VM's of that host. Please run the above command on one OVC at a time. Once you witness all the three network addresses on the OVC summary, proceed with the next OVC.
