Hi Belgianbiscuit

There are several methods to determine the change rate on an HPE SimpliVity cluster:

1. Use the HPE SimpliVity Management Console: The HPE SimpliVity Management Console provides a real-time view of the data change rate, as well as other important performance metrics, such as network usage and resource utilization. To access this information, log in to the HPE SimpliVity Management Console, and navigate to the Performance view.

2. Use the vCenter Performance Charts: The vCenter Performance Charts provide a visual representation of various performance metrics, including data change rate. To access this information, log in to vCenter, navigate to the cluster in question, and select the Performance tab. From there, select the Data Change Rate chart and observe the changes over time.

3. Use the HPE SimpliVity CLI: The HPE SimpliVity Command Line Interface (CLI) provides a way to retrieve performance metrics, including the data change rate, from the command line. To access this information, log in to a node in the cluster using the HPE SimpliVity CLI, and run the following command: "svm_performance show -f data_change_rate". This will display the current data change rate for the cluster.

These are just a few examples of how to determine the change rate on an HPE SimpliVity cluster. The easiest method will depend on your specific needs and the tools you have available.

Hope this helps.!!

Regards
Mahesh

Hi there

I have no knowledge re Simplivity but am trying to determine the change rate on a cluster. What is easiest way to do so?
Owner gave me a backup report but it does not tell me anything really. Any places in interface that can tell me? Sorry for ignorance but haven’t even had opportunity to log on to system
