"Hello,
I'm looking to add a computing node to Simplivity.
1. Are computing nodes compatible with x86 servers from other vendors(Dell, Lenovo...etc)?
Also,

2. is it possible to configure Simplivity with a 1:2 for general server virtualization?"

"The guide describes it as follows:
VDI 1:1 Simplivity
General server 2:1 Simplivity"

Hello @jskim88,

You can have compute nodes from other vendors as long as they meet the pre-requisites described in Administration guide.

We do not support doing 1:2 mapping for hosts. Only what is described in the guide.
