I regret to inform you that the hostname of either vCenter Server or Platform Service Controller cannot be changed in vCenter Server
please refer to the

Upon further investigation, I've come across a KB article that outlines the process for changing the IP address of vCenter within a SimpliVity cluster. I apologize for any confusion my previous response may have caused.

Note: You can skip step 3 if you do not plan on building a new VCenter but want only to change the IP address.
