Hello,

I'm using HPE Simplivity -two nodes) and for the last 3 days we're facing the following issue:

If we don't shut down one of our OVC, All VM display the message "SimpliVity Storage HA Lost Sync" et everything start to get really slow; Some VM Aren't reachable for a while and the vcneter is unaccessible.

When we shutdown the OVC everything is back to normal but of coursewe have no more redundancy (all VM are actually running on one ESX).

HPE support haven't been really helpful yet.
If anyone have on idea about how to troubleshoot this, it woulf be great.

Regards,

David.

This seems like a network issue between the two hosts.

Is this direct connected? If yes, then please check the vmnic configuration on vSwitch1.

The adapters will need to be configured as active/standby and not active-active.

Regards

Rakesh

Hi @rakesh_93 ,

Thank you for your quick reply.

That's excatly what the support told us. The mnic were actually in Active/active but when we switched to active/passive on both host and wait for a whole night, it didn't change anything.

The support will call us back today to take a look at it again but i must admit that nobody seems to know what is going on.

if you have another suggestion...

Regards,

David.
