Adding to Liam:

1. If VM is not using vmxnet3 adapter, please change it to vmxnet3 and test.

2. Ping to any other VM on the same vlan on the same Host and verify if the connectivity works. If this works then it is at the physical network level.

If you are still unable to isolate, please open support case.

Probably best to open a support ticket. However, can you isolate the symptons, such as

a) only 1 VM affected, where other VMs are present on that host?

b) if vMotioned to another host, does the issue remain?

c) using vmxnet3 adapter?

d) how are you seeing the VM loosing network connectivity or are you seeing the dropped packets in esxtop
