Hi guys,

Anyone able to tell me if it's possible/allowed to connect multiple PoE powered devices to a single port on the 2610-24-PWR switch?

Eg. If I have a VoIP phone with a passthrough on it, can I plug an A7760 Wireless Access Point in to it for instance, and power them both from the same port on the switch?

Does that work? Or is it not allowed/supported under 802.3af? Or do we just have to watch they dont draw more then 15.4W's total?

Thanks for any help!

Steve.

Without actually knowing Im guessing that if you have a VoIP phone with PoE passthrough and the total wattage drawn is < 15.4W then it will work.
