topic Command Line Interface for HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 Module for HPE Synergy? in HPE Synergy

Hallo,
does the SE 40Gb F8 module offer a Command Line Interface?

I am a little unsure:

On the one hand, there is a topic in this forum 'Monitoring Synergy Chassis' which I was reading that the Command Line Interface is only available for HPE support.
Additionally, the QuickSpecs document
'HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 Module for HPE Synergy'
does not include a reference to 'Command Line Interface' or 'CLI'.

On the other hand, there is a 'HPE Synergy 40Gb F8 Switch Module Command Line Interface (CLI) Guide' (dated 2019).

I suppose, 'HPE Synergy 40Gb F8 Switch' and 'HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 Module for HPE Synergy' are two different modules, and the 'HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 Module for HPE Synergy' actually does not support a command line interface, right?

In general: a command line interface is only supported when referenced in the QuickSpecs. But if referenced there, it can be accessed by the user.

Regards

    Christof

yes command line is available for virtual connect, but you need to enable the netop password using restful API

try using this powershell script

https://github.com/steem-supporter/synergy-powershell/blob/master/netop_pass-v02.ps1

also dont forget to assing IP to switches through oneview , use enclosure group to configure them and then update the LE from the group

Cheers
