HPE Synergy OneView updates with SPP 2023.10.01

We have an HPE Synergy frame which is mosylt running SPP 2023.10.01 - I say 'mostly' running because the infrastrcuture components are on 2023.10.01 and some of the compute modules = but there are some servers that we do not have downtime available to update for a while yet. We get a couple of mainteneance windows a year to updates these serves and that's nearly 6 months away currently.

I want to update OneView from 6.60.07 to the latest supported version without the need to update the infrastructure or compute module firmware any further. Looking at the Synergy software releases I can see that SPP 2023.10.01 is supported for all OneView releases up to 9.10.01 so I plan to take it to this level.

My question is if there may be some risk to the compute modules that have yet to be updated to 2023.10.01? This is a very static environment with no requirements to add any further hardware or make any changes to the server profiles, Logical Interconnects, or even updates to server hypervisors\OS. There may be a need to add some additionals VLANs over the coming months.

Am I able to proceed with the OneView updates with this scenario's - OneView is pretty much just used for monitoring these days as the need to make changes is very low.

Before commenting in any detail, it is no coincidence that 2023.10 and OV 6.60.07 were the last supported combination on the HPE Synergy Composer (1st gen).

Do you already have an HPE Synergy Composer2?

Your initial reply suggested you may have more detail to add once I'd confirmed the Composer2's were in use.
