Internet attempts from synergy composer management interface?

Hello,

today the WAN/Proxy team notified my network engineer that the internet proxy for our company is seeing repeat attempts (several per second) to reach bc.googleusercontent.com. The source IP on our side is one of my Synergy Composer 2 virtual IPs.

My first thought was I must have left the proxy config enabeld on the Composer module during setup when we tried to pull down some updates or something, so I checked but there was no proxy configured.

The devices in the frame are:

2 Synergy Composer 2 modules

1 Framelink module

2 Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 modules

12 SY 480 Gen10 compute modules

Any thoughts?

I recall a bug in OneView 5.60 that sounds just like this. That one was fixed in OneView 6.20

I am using OneView 5.6. I hadn't heard about this bug yet.

One more reason to get updated to v6 soon.

Make sure you check for FW and OS dependencies in the interop guide as well.
