Computer does not have Wireless capability

Hi,

I have an old Pavillion t820a and I want to connect a wireless Rounter so i could use WiFi , but when i run the CD , it keeps telling me that my computer does not have wireless capability.

Is there any Drives that i need to download or

Is there any other way around it ?

Hi Ramzies,

According to the information I could find, the Pavilion t820a Desktop PC only came with a 10/100MB Wired Ethernet NIC and no Wireless adapter.

Are you saying that the router you purchased is connected directly to the PC (over USB for example) or do you want to wirelessly connect the PC to the router? If the latter, then you'll probably need to purchase a WiFi adapter to either insert into an available USB slot or else you could install an internal PCI/PCIe WiFi adapter.
