3 Access Points 3Com 7760 stopped working

I work on a University that have 5 Access Points 3Com 7760 that has the same age. Three of them stopped worked with no reason. The injector continues working, but the Access Points don't work anymore and no lights the green light. I think that could be a manufacturing defect, because when they reach a certain time of use they stopped working one by one. Do you know something about that?

We also got the AP7760 and 4 of those things are also stopped working. The only thing that lights is the power LED.

It's really annoying!

We have had a total of 10 APs all stop working at nearly the same time.

An example of one of our serial numbers to compare to your own is: 9TZ49TM39E800

Obviiously the last 6 digits are from the MAC address, but can you confirm if any of yours are from the same batch?

I have found from HP support that these were manufactured in 04/2006 and had a 3yr warranty?

Have either of you, or anyone reading this heard anything else about this potential batch defect?
