I would say that the listed controllers in the article can be used with these access points (at least the 7760 for sure).

Just realize that most of these controllers are being updated to a v2 version, which will not necessarily still support the older access points.

Would recommend to have contact with HP partner or HP representative,

Since this is the MSM forum, none of the MSM Controllers work with 3Com or H3C APs. The MSM controllers work with APs labelled MSM (or MAP from the original Colubris range).
