html based auth msm720, can't figure it out.

Hey all.

I'm trying to set up a guest access network with html based auth.

I've got it working with wpa but it doesn't seem to work for me with html logins.

The things I got to work with is,

vlan 7 internal network, can't access the guest vlan from this one. has a dhcp of it's own

vlan 105 guest network, can't access vlan 7 from this one has a dhcp of it's own.

vlan 99 management vlan where controller resides

vlan 16 ap network where the ap's are hanging out conversing with the controller and whatnot.

I've got the ap's hooked up to switch ports that's got 16 untagged and the other 3 tagged.

using wpa I get things working no problem, guest access via psk works great.. but when I try to set up the html based auth login stuff it does

1. not present me with login

2. not hand me an ip

new to this controller and woul be extremely thankful for some guidance.

Hi,

before moving forward could you let us know whether you are using DHCP server in controller or it is acting as DHCP Relay. In case please verify whether DNS Interception is checked or not.

dhcp relay, two servers one for each network (guest and internal)

yes dns interception is checked.

what is ur setting for this vsc?
have u try to open a browser and browse to any url?
which firmware u r using?
