MSM765 High utilization, proc regng use 90%

We have a MSM765 that is very slow when we access it thru the WEB-GUI, it also drops AP´s and then after some time (a few hours) finds them again.
When running top we can see that the process regng is using round 90%

What is wrong ?

Which software version do you have?

What type of VSC's do you have setup?

How many APs and what type?

Attach the log also if you can.

sperate all access point your network
create different vlan, asign all access point and msm lan port.

test againg

am having the same issue top showing cpu usage 90 - 100 % top and ps showing that the command regng is using that , am using MSM 760 firmware version 5.4.2.47-01-9666 , i have separated MSM 760 lan port on separe vlan bit still the same , the clinets are MSM 317 ... need urgent help really as it happens in life site

I've had a similar issue with a msm 760 and 730. They are both running the same 5.5.something firmware. Cpu usage pegs at 90 or 100% and the connection to outside radius server fails. Started after I upgrade to the first 5.5 release.

have disabled the LLDP agents under Network > discovery protocols > lld agents and the result was amazing

Same problem, HP suggest to upgrade to 5.7.0.3, but the problem still remains.

Disabled LLDP both on controller and APs: good results!

Disabled mobility manager also: CPU load goes lower again.

We have 5 teamed controllers, 640 AP.

From 6.5 load to 1.2 now.

i am still facing this issue with cpu high cause regng any one can help?

i disabled LLDP , RRM, Mobility manager but still same issue.
