You can pass the framed-ip-address in the access request, but it is not supported in the access accept reply. You can't assign an IP address to a wireless client using these attributes.

Here is a link to the latest documentation. p225 provides the list of attributes supported in the different access and accounting messages:
http://cdn.procurve.com/training/Manuals/r531/MSM7xx-MCG-May09-5992-5929.pdf

Hi

I have a MSM730 controller and some APs that work in controller mode. I use a radiator server for authentication and I put in access-accept message the attributes framed-IP-address and framed-IP-netmask because I want to assign the IP address with radiator and no with dhcp.

MSM-730 can use these attributes for assign an IP address to a wireless client?

Regards

P.S. This thread has been moved from Communications, Wireless (Legacy ITRC forum) to MSM Series. -HP Forum Moderator

Ok. Thanks. I will try to use the dhcp built in the controller to solve my problem.
