MSM466 L3 [lab] connection to a MSM760 controller

I'm hung in a 'waiting for acceptance' mode. Further information says The AP has been authorized by the controller. However, the AP has not yet selected the controller to function as its controller.

What have I not configured correctly to not have this AP join the controller that it sees?

is your AP L3 or L3+ NAT?

1. make sure you have a route back to the L3 network.
2. make sure your firewall doesnt block any ports for the discovery process (i know they are somewhere in the online help)
