      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;on the wireless side the easiest way is to configure encryption on the SSID you are using. You can use WEP, WPA or WPA2 either one of those are fine for home usage. If you are not sure call 3Com support they will help you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;POM&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>You can do several things, listed in order of security required:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Nothing: wide open&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hidden SSID: still wide open but somewhat invisible&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;WEP: Visible but requiring a simple code, though easily hacked&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;WPA:  Visible but requiring a simple code, HARD to hack.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can apply several security schemes in a layered approach.  For instance, Hidden SSID with WPA and Mac-address authentification would be VERY secure.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I hope that helps. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rob.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
