3CRWDR200A - Can't update firmware

Trying to update firmware on my 3CRWDR200A.

Currently at:

Software Version: 2.3

Hardware Version: 0.1

Wireless Version: 0.1

Bootloader Version: 1.0.37-6.4

I'm connecting thorugh the LAN port and trying to load from C:\3Com\3CRWDR200A75\version 3.6.16\3CRWDR200A-75_v3.6.16_WW

Fails with 'The file path may be wrong.'

I've reset to factory default and also tried disabling SPI but still no luck.

Anyone got any advice please?

Try with a more simple path, like c:\3com\filename.bin

and try also renaming the firmware with an 8.3 format (like firmware.bin)

PS: assuming you already unzipped the file....

Yes I did unzip the file and I did try simplifying the path. The 3com browser sees the full path whatever I use. I'll try using .bin file extension and see how that goes. Thanks

No luck - insists on .img as the file extension.

Sussed it. I was using Firefox doh! Works with IE.
