E-MSM430 problem to access it.

Hi All,

I have few E-MSM430 APs. One is ok, but others have strange issue - they are successfully obtained ips, I can ping them, but can't access neither with console nor web. In DHCp server base they look like NANAIMO.mydomain 1.1.1.1.

I reset them several times , bot no effect.

What could be wrong with them?

I think the AP are running in TFTP-Mode. In this mode you can transfer a firmware-image to AP

but how? Just up tftp server in the same network? how will AP know about it? Broadcast?

I think APs are already in TFTP-Server-Mode because Firmware/Config is damaged. I would try to put an CIM-File (startup and firmware) with tftp-client-Software

I already have V6.6.8.2-HP560-MSM410-MSM430-MSM460-MSM466-MSM466R-B23491.cim , but can't find startup file.

Could you please help? Where can i get it?

Firmware i've loaded some times ago from HP-website was a zip-files. *.cim and *.cim.startup was included with same release version.

I have downloaded two files - V6.6.8.2-HP560-MSM410-MSM430-MSM460-MSM466-MSM466R-B23491.zip and V5.7.9.0-MSM410-MSM430-MSM460-MSM466-MSM466R-B23385.zip but there is only .cim file there. No cim.startup.

could you please share your startup file with me?

I've downloaded V6.5.0.1-HP560-B19720.zip some month ago from HP-homepage(link in thread https://community.hpe.com/t5/M-and-MSM-Series/Need-the-xxx-cim-startup-for-HP-560/td-p/6786204 ). File contained a cim.startup for HP560 but it worked for me on MSM460.
