Anyone using 5.7.0.2 Yet?

Folks,

Interesting that there seems to be 2 evolving firmware versions - 5.5.4 and 5.7.0.2....

I can't get 5.5.4, but have acquired 5.7.0.2. Was wondering if anyone is using it in a production environment and how successful it is?

I have a lot of MSM410s that are set at 802.11G that I would love to up to G and N but can't because they lock up. Still looking for a solution.

I upgraded last Monday. Now issues it all. I didn't have any issues with the first 5.7 release either.

Please note that the GMS software needs to be updated to match when you take the leap.

I'm using MSM310, MSM430, MSM422, MSM460 and MSM466 access points.

I'm using 5.7.0.2 with controller teaming. I first had another 5.7 version and some clients had sometimes problems to connect.

Yes, it will probably work. However keep in mind that it is not supported so if you run into issues then support won't be able to help you out.

Unless you are using MSM720, I suggest you wait with implementing 5.5.7 and stay on 5.5.3.
At least that is what I heard should be best atm.

Hi Craig,

I meant that using GMS with a Controller team is not supported.

From GMS 5.7 Release Notes:

"GMS 5.7.0 does not support interaction with MSM7xx Controller teams. GMS 5.7.0 must only be
used with standalone MSM7xx Controllers."

I'm using 5.7.0.2. and I'm experiencing some issues with teaming: When adding a new member to the team, the new member will cycle between "Uploading configuration" and "Resetting configuration" states.

On the HP site - namely https://h10145.www1.hp.com/downloads/SoftwareReleases.aspx?ProductNumber=J9325A&lang=&cc=&prodSeriesId= I only see MSM 5.7.0.0 only.

Is there another site, where to downlooad 5.7.0.2 oder only via support ticket?
