I don't know of any off hand, no. I have several MSM controllers setup (no APs in Autonomous mode) using NPS 2008/2008R2 and no issues. Never had to specify attributes at all. What 802.1X mechansim are you trying to use? EAP/TLS, PEAP, etc.?
All radius traffic is going through the NPS but then returns a RADIUS reject.

I've attached a screenshot of the error, can anyone help?

No idea, sorry. Have you tried talking with Procurve support on this issue and the other RADIUS issues you're seeing? Sometimes they're pretty good about helping figure those issues out.

J

Hi JesseR I have raised a case with HP hopefully they'll contact me today regarding this problem.

I'm just hoping that I haven't missed anything silly on the NPS server.

Do you know if I need to setup mandatory attributes on the RADIUS server for the WAP to authenticate properly? I've had a look in the manual and there is a massive list but there is no mention if they are optional or mandatory.

Thanks for the reply.
