XP Raid Manager - HORCM Files

Situation: Attempting to expand an existing (test) disk using HORCM files.

At c:\windows, I have “horcm99.conf”.

I run the following commands:

C:\WINDOWS>horcmstart 99

starting HORCM inst 99

HORCM inst 99 starts successfully.

C:\WINDOWS>raidvchkset -g DEV_XPTEST01 -vext 1g –nowarning –IBC99

raidvchkset: [EX_ATTHOR] Can't be attached to HORC manager

Refer to the command log(C:\HORCM\log\horcc_srv-pa001_log.txt) for details.

I have pasted the error log referenced above.

I am connecting up fine to my command devices by running a ‘xpinfo –I’ command.

Verify that ...

HORCMINST is set correctly.

HOCMINST was correct.

The issue turned out to be that I had the disk in a replication status.

I broke off replication, I can expand now freely.

hi gurdeep bhai ..

i use to work on hitachi AMS series and now we have to install a new HP XP12000 in our center . I tried every where but didn;t find any documentation to config the BC & CA , so " veer ji " i request if you have any such PDF's .. plz email it on my address mentioned below .
