3PAR 8200 Direct Connect Question

Hey guys,

Wanted to ask, does the 8200 support direct connections to ESXi without the use of a SAN Switch? 

Recently bought a 8200 All Flash Starter Kit. Comes with 16GB FC Connections. Also bought 2x HP DL360 G9. Comes with 2 16GB FC HBAs. 

Tried performing a direct connection between the Hosts and 3PAR but the WWNs could not be detected. 

Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated!

HP 3PAR Support Matrix
HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000/7000c/8000, 10000 and 20000
HP 3PAR OS 3.2.2

At the moment direct connection with 16GB FC adapters is not supported 

Only "flat SAN" that is direct attach to blade enlosure C7000.

HP say it will be supported in the future maybee 3.2.2 MU2
