3PAR 8440 SSD raw space above 85%, How to reduce the data on tier0

I have a 8440 with 6 920GB SSDs and 16 FC 1.8TB disks. Its been configured with AO as tier 0 and tier1. The AO mode is balance and no growth limit configured.

There are 2 virtual volumes of 6TB each created from tier1. Both are FPVV.

I receive warning that my SSD raw capacity is over 85%. How can I move the data to the lower tier?3pt.jpg

You could set the Tier 0 limit (t0max) on the AO configuration.

You could set the warning size on the CPG used for the SSD tier.

How much SSD-only (non-AO) volumes (and allocated space) do you currently have, and what is the expected non-AO SSD growth rate?

There is no SSD-only (non-AO) volumes created.

In that case, you want to use as much of the SSDs as you can. Set the raw space alert on the SSDs to the minimum. If using the command line, setsys RawSpaceAlertSSD 10
